William and I stayed at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort for the weekend with his firm in mid October. We arrived Friday afternoon and checked out Sunday at lunch. Among the weekend festivities were dinner at the resort on the lawn, black light volleyball, a chocolate showpiece challenge, and dinner at Hush in Laguna Beach. The hotel and events were absolutely amazing, therefore, we definitely were not ready to leave on Sunday. However, I must say that one of the best highlights of our trip was that I checked out of the hotel with Dennis Quaid behind me in line....nothing like a random celebrity sighting to add some excitement to a weekend!
